Juniors (Ages 5-8)

At Shepherd-Warrior Martial Arts, interactive, individualized instruction creates the optimum environment for learning. We break each Junior class into groups so your child gets all the one-on-one care he or she needs to feel great about class and to learn quickly. To build a solid foundation, we make sure your child grasps each new idea and technique before we move on to the next concept. All of our exercises have been carefully designed to help develop hand-eye coordination and motor skills. Your child’s confidence grows every time something new is learned!

Using innovative methods and just the right amount of fun, we teach our Juniors life skills and physical skills that will benefit them now and as they grow into Warriors. We emphasize non-violent conflict resolution and teach children to recognize and avoid lures and threats. Our curriculum is also designed to ensure that children are prepared – mentally and physically – to neutralize physical threats. Training at Shepherd-Warrior Martial Arts, your child will be well equipped to do his or her very best in school and in life.

What to expect on your first intro

All of our new students start out with a 2-week trial program. This gives you the chance to come in and see for yourself if our program is right for you.
  • Arrive at scheduled time
  • Fill out required paperwork
  • Get student fitted into their t-shirt
  • Quick one-on-one lesson
  • Join group class

We strongly recommend bringing a water bottle as the class can have a workout element to it.
